I had a good friend at school, I’d say a best friend. We went to Worksop College together for five years. It was a time before mobile phones and after going to the British Grand Prix together in 1989, we lost touch. In an attempt to connect again, I came across this tribute page and recognised a smile in the pictures. The Simon I knew was the best a friend could be. I’m know he will be missed and my thoughts, delayed though they unfortunately are, are with those he knew in his adult life, his friends and his family. Rest in peace Simon.

I never met Simon however he was really kind to my sister and I and helped us stand a chance in business. I felt to sad to hear of his passing. I pray a peaceful rest forever. God bless you xx

When I left Camden, Simon put into my collection. A few years later, when I left Islington, Simon put into my collection. When I left Enfield; Simon had had enough !! No more he said...hahaha. Always at the end of the phone if needed and always up for a pint. I hope you are in a good place mate. God bless you.
